This beautifully restored former farmhouse stands in the completely unspoiled south of the island, perched atop a rocky hill that affords a stunning panoramic view of the shimmering sea and blue sky. Nearby are two of the island’s most beautiful beaches: secluded Kalo Ampeli with sand and pebbles, and peaceful Vagia, which offers a few umbrellas, sunbeds and a couple of tavernas. Both are just a short drive away, though Kalo Ampeli also requires a 10-minute descent on a footpath.
The location of The Farmhouse, within the EU Natura 2000 network, allows guests to completely switch off from daily routine, chill out and connect with the island’s unique energy. But if guests do feel the need to get out and about, charming Livadi and picturesque Hora are both within easy driving distance.

Description
The Farmhouse has been rebuilt with utmost respect for the island’s traditional architecture and natural environment, using eco-friendly materials such as the indigenous granite-like stone found on-site, while preserving the local vegetation.
Inspired by the rugged island landscape and original purpose of the building, the 80 m2 interior comprises an open-plan space with traditional built-in sitting area and extra-comfy king-size bed with high-end King Koil mattress. The inviting independent bathroom offers a rain shower experience, while the spacious, closed-plan kitchen is fully equipped and exudes an authentic island feel. The overall design is in the ‘modern farmhouse’ style that incorporates rough textiles and other rustic elements in a fresh way.
The outdoor area features a 50 m2 open terrace, divided into two spaces, one with a large wooden dining table and chairs, while in the other, guests can relax on a built-in sofa while taking in the panoramic sea view. This entire area is shaded by a massive pergola made from wild chestnut wood and Greek reed. Other outdoor amenities include a private shower.
For larger parties, The Farmhouse can be rented together with the adjacent Shepherd’s Cottage (see listing), subject to availability. Both stand on 4.9 acres of untouched land and the layout ensures that guests enjoy complete privacy.
