The villa occupies a slightly elevated position in Agia Efimia, which affords a sweeping view of the picturesque coastal village, its small harbour, and the sparkling Ionian Sea. Lying in a sheltered bay on the east coast of the island, unspoiled Agia Efimia offers shops, bakeries and mini-markets, plus a choice of cafes, bars and tavernas along the waterfront. Activities in the area include diving, snorkelling, fishing, walking, and of course swimming. The nearest beach – pebbly and quiet – is just at the end of the harbour, but there are several small bays a short drive away on the road to Sami. You can also rent a boat and discover the numerous secluded coves and pristine beaches accessible only from the sea. Nearby historic sites include the 11th century Monastery of Themata up in the mountains, a pleasant 9 km. drive from the village. While the more energetic may be tempted to stretch their legs and enjoy a swim on both sides of the island… on the same day! Beginning in the harbour, the trail crosses the island at its narrowest point and ends at spectacular Myrtos Bay on the west coast.

Lovingly built with local stone and 120 m2 of interior space, Azure II can accommodate up to four guests in two double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom (one with bath tub, one with shower). The first has a double bed, and the second, two single beds or a double bed. Each bedroom has a smart TV and both enjoy a panoramic sea view and direct access to the pool area.
Other indoor features include a comfortable living room, spacious fully equipped kitchen and guest WC. While outside, there is a sitting and dining area shaded by a pergola, a private infinity pool, jacuzzi, sun beds, and shower. There is also a fire pit, over which guests can place a cast iron griddle and cook just about anything.
A complimentary breakfast is served daily in a picnic basket, typically comprising fresh eggs, delicious local bread, freshly squeezed orange juice, croissants, fruit and other goodies. Something different is included every day and guest feedback is welcomed to ensure that their preferences are catered to. The basket is placed outside the villa entrance at a time previously agreed with the guests.
