In addition to a laid-back snack bar, there is also a high-end restaurant in a beachfront hotel, where non-guests too can enjoy a cool drink or a meal based on fresh produce and inspired by local cuisine. Livadi, the island’s port and Chora, the main town, are both within easy driving distance.

Oasis II is one of three villas in this privileged location and sits on the upper level, protected from the Meltemi summer wind. Each residence is southwest-facing but has been given a slightly different orientation to afford guests maximum privacy. The three villas can be rented either individually or together in the case of larger parties.
Their design, by a well-known studio that has received several international architectural awards, is characterised by the use of simple, clean lines that pay homage to the natural surroundings. Outdoors, the earthy beige industrial floor and sand-coloured, plastered walls set the colour palette. Huge rocks protruding from the walls blend magnificently with the barren natural setting. Indoors, the zen of minimalism and earth tones prevail.
The villa has an interior area of 61 m2, plus an outdoor space of 165 m2. Apart from the amazing sea view, the residence also enjoys a side mountain view with the ruins of a mineworker’s house and the one and only eucalyptus tree of Vagia. While the hammock in the back yard offers moments of total relaxation in the shade.
The two double bedrooms, both with ensuite bathroom, each have concrete beds with anatomic mattresses. The main bedroom looks out onto the patio at the rear, while the second room has views of the pool and beach in front, even from the bed.
