Location
Perched high on the cliff overlooking the sea-filled caldera and the Aegean beyond, the house is located in a quiet neighbourhood of Oia but only a short walk to the pedestrian-only main street of the enchanting settlement. Occupying the northwest tip of the island, Oia is world famous for its spectacular sunset views, blue-domed churches and charming whitewashed homes carved into the rugged clifftop. But in the narrow streets, visitors will also find a wide choice of restaurants, tavernas, cafés and shops. At the bottom of the cliff lies the picturesque harbour of Ammoudi, reached via the coastal road or by a long flight of 300 steps, with several fish tavernas, a diving centre and crystal-clear waters for swimming from the rocks. From there, small boats take visitors to the nearby island of Thirasia.

Laid out on a single level, the 100 m2 house has one bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom, a second bedroom with single bed, and a sitting room with couch and an additional single bed. There is also a second bathroom with shower unit and a kitchen, accessed through a separate entrance, equipped so that guests can prepare a meal or light snack.
Tastefully furnished and sparkling clean, the house offers a wonderful break in a remarkable setting. The private veranda has a large hot tub in which guests can relax while taking in the truly breathtaking views of the caldera, perhaps while sipping a glass of the wine they will find in the complimentary welcome basket. The veranda is the perfect spot for sunbathing, chilling out or gazing at the wondrous, star-filled night sky.
